Dr. Brottman is instrumental in the continuous development of PCDS Asthma decision support software. She currently is the Director of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) in Minneapolis, MN. She also serves as the Chair of the Asthma Improvement Group charged with improving optimal asthma care for all patients with asthma seen at the institution. Dr. Brottman previously was the Co-Director of Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Brottman serves on multiple clinical and therapeutic committees and has received multiple grants and awards for her work in the education and improvement in asthma management with a focus on pediatric and adolescent care. Her manuscripts have been published in several peer-reviewed publications including the New England Journal of Medicine, American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine and Pediatric Pulmonology.
Dr. Uden graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy and subsequently completed a Post-doctoral Fellowship in Pharmacokinetics and Pulmonary Medicine. He currently is a professor at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy, and previously held the position as Director of Pharmacy Services and Research Administration at Minneapolis Children's Medical Center.
For 35 years, Dr. Uden has been associated with the American Lung Association of Minnesota and has held multiple leadership positions. He has extensive practice and clinical research experience with over 100 abstract and scientific publications, and was a member of the Food and Drug Administration Nonprescription Drugs Advisory Committee.
Al Villarin MD FACEP, has 28 years of physician leadership and clinical informatics experience. He has been CMIO for two large academic multi-hospital medical centers in Philadelphia and New York. Currently enrolled in Northwestern University, Masters in Medical Informatics program, Dr. Villarin brings his years of clinical evidenced-based workflow analytics, RTLS, CDS backgrounds and forward thinking methodologies to support our clients. He has presented in many major national meetings, participated in online and published position pieces for medical informatics.
Dr. Villarin currently drives clinical workflow excellence at Staten Island University Hospital as CMIO, achieving MU1 (2013), MU2 this year and a 2014 "Most Wired Hospital" status from Healthcare IT news. He is chairman of the Unified Communications Committee for NSLIJ and the IS Steering, Physicians Advisory, Workflow Analytics, and is the Director of the Division of Quality Analytics for SIUH.

He has led sales, business development and marketing for early to mid-stage healthcare software and professional services companies including Patient Care Technology Systems, Awarepoint, Management Health Solutions, 3M and now as the General Manager and Executive Vice President of PrecisionBI, providing clinical business intelligence and analytics software to increase productivity and quality of care.
